With the abundance of registry cleaners available on the Internet, one may find it difficult to select just one. Many registry cleaning programs proclaim that they can erase any errors, eliminate the incidence of crashes, and boost the performance of your computer.
However, there are a limited number of decent registry cleaners out there.
The RegCure registry cleaner is the industry’s most popular registry repair utility, which was developed by ParetoLogic for the consumer market. Does it measure up?
After thorough testing of RegCure, we have summarized the benefits and features you can get from this product in this review. We have also ranked it at number 1 in our list of top 8 registry cleaners, beating rivals Registry Easy 3.0 and Registry Fix overall.
RegCure’s Features
You can use RegCure’s Automatic Repair option to fix errors automatically after they have been found during scanning of your system. There is also the Automatic Scanning feature from the Scheduling Tool, with which you can plot schedules and automatically scan your system based on the schedules you have set.
One can also use the Backup and Restore feature, which can reverse any edits to the registry, as well as bring back files that have been removed. One can also activate RegCure’s Startup Management and Ignore List options, which handles the programs that load as the Windows OS boots, and allows you to ignore certain detected items in subsequent scans, respectively.
The features can hardly be called innovative, although RegCure does afford the user the greatest number of useful features, without including any superficial ones in the package. You will not need anything other than the set of included features to effectively and efficiently clean up the registry.
We have found the RegCure scanning process to be quick and effective as well. Our first scan located 527 errors in our initial scan, plus one more item when we tried to scan a second time – this makes for superb reliability of the scanning feature. Error removal is also easy, and you can revert to previous system status even after the changes are made.
Is RegCure user-friendly?
Yes, the registry cleaner is designed with ease of use in mind, with the interface easily accessible to anyone with a basic grasp of running and installing ordinary programs. The interface itself is well-organized and easy to read. However, we tried to contact RegCure’s customer service regarding an issue with the registration key, and it was difficult. The problem was resolved with the company’s automated system for key retrieval.
Overall, RegCure is a more than satisfactory program, and we have no doubt that it is the best solution for registry repair currently available.
